The problem
A translated store with US defaults: no legal notice, no withdrawal policy, card only, tracking that fires before consent, invoices that do not meet German requirements.
Industries · E-commerce
Germany is the largest e-commerce market in the EU and the least forgiving. Missing withdrawal terms, an unregistered packaging licence or a checkout without invoice payment quietly kill conversion, and sometimes bring a cease-and-desist letter. We implement the technical and content side, our partners cover the legal part.
The problem
A translated store with US defaults: no legal notice, no withdrawal policy, card only, tracking that fires before consent, invoices that do not meet German requirements.
What we build
A German store variant with the required texts and flows, local payment methods, packaging and VAT handled, invoicing connected to German bookkeeping, cookieless analytics.
The result
Orders convert at German expectations, bookkeeping is filed correctly, and you can see which channel produced the revenue.
What we set up
The 14-day right of withdrawal with its exact wording, the model withdrawal form, terms and a legal notice with a responsible person. Texts come from a German legal provider and update automatically.
Invoice payment, SEPA direct debit, PayPal, cards, and where useful local wallets. Invoice payment alone moves conversion more than most design work.
Packaging registration (LUCID), electronics and battery obligations where they apply, OSS VAT setup, correct tax display in the store.
Invoices with all mandatory fields, e-invoicing where required, connected to German bookkeeping and to your accountant, archived for the legal retention period.
Stock and orders connected to your ERP or to a German fulfilment partner, so nobody retypes anything between systems.
Cookieless analytics on our own servers with full e-commerce reporting: revenue, order value, top products, abandoned carts per channel.
Why brands work with us
From practice
For a German accessories retailer we run the store with its ERP, connected the legal texts to an API that refreshes them daily, and added cookieless tracking that attributes revenue to channels and campaigns.

Often yes. We add the German requirements to your existing store and connect it to fulfilment and bookkeeping. When stock and product data get complex, a system with a real ERP behind it is the better investment.
No. You need a compliant store, correct VAT registration, an EU representative under Art. 27 GDPR if you have no EU establishment, and a way to invoice properly. Our partners handle the legal filings.
Typically six to ten weeks from audit to launch, depending on translation quality, product data and payment setup.
Native speakers, not machine translation. Machine-translated product pages are the fastest way to lose a German buyer.
In a 30 minute call we go through store, payments, invoicing and data flows and tell you what it takes.
